At 2,200,000 Scovilles (SHU), the Carolina Reaper (Or HP22B chilli) is the hottest chilli in the world. This product is not one for the faint hearted, but is an excellent gift for any chilli enthusiast. Our Carolina Reaper chilli puree can be used sparingly to add a trident punch to your cooking. Our high quality chillies are sourced from reputable and ethical suppliers, with full traceability. The chillies are grown in Senegal, the UK and Spain and imported to Hampshire specifically for us. We have never seen or received fresher, better looking chillies. We have a fantastic relationship with all our growers and are very proud to be working closely with all our suppliers (Should you wish a custom variety or species, please get in touch as we grow specific varieties on request.). The salt we use is a pure unadulterated sea salt from the Atlantic ocean sourced from a UK supplier. There’s no iodine or anti caking agents involved. The vinegar is from an established UK producer. It’s a top quality cider vinegar with no sulphites or additives. It’s fruity and flavourful. no harsh acids here. We barrel ferment our chillies in our custom built kitchen (5* food standards agency certified) in Hampshire, UK.
