The mighty Naga Chilli has its origins in Bangladesh and India. It is renowned for its almighty heat. Packing up to 1.1million Scoville Heat Units (SHU), it's in the top ten of the world's hottest chillies.
Originally a native of North-eastern India (Nagaland - from where it derives its name) and Bangladesh, the Naga chilli is a close relative of the Bhut Jolokia (An Assamese chilli pepper), also called the Ghost Pepper.
Unlike the Ghost Chilli Pepper, the Naga has deceptively smooth skin, usually synonymous with milder peppers.

Dispatch
We aim to dispatch all fresh chilli orders within 3-5 working days. Whilst delivery is usually quicker - within 1-2 working days, to keep our packhouse chillies as fresh as possible, we bring regular consignments from our farms, which, if delayed, can cause a longer turnaround times.
All our chillies are dispatched on a next-day service to ensure optimal freshness. Once received, please refrigerate immediately and use/freeze within one week for optimal freshness.
Our Chilli Growing
To stabilise our fresh chilli growing, we grow our chillies in 4 countries - Rwanda (our main crop most of the year-round), the UK (July - October), Spain (Late August - January) and Holland (May - September).
We are a SEDEX member, and all our farms are GGAP accredited. For Technical, GGAP or SEDEX, please contact us at info@chillimashcompany.com.
