Not What I was Expecting

Purchased this one after finishing the fantastic 'Hot Grog' (Chilli & Rum) - This one has layers of heat, but the pairing with gin doesn't work for me. It has a definite after taste which I find limits its uses in the kitchen, and as an everyday sauce.
